“I believe a tour guide is essential for the cave. I am anything but a rock climber and the tour guides helped me immensely. Let's be clear, this tour requires a bit of strength and agility. We started on a gorgeous beach and then climbed lava rocks up the hills for maybe a half hour. It was hard going. Wear sturdy shoes. Maybe even stretch before you go. We saw 3 of the 7 arches and they were so cool. The views on the walk were amazing. The climb into the cave was more dangerous than I expected but worth it. The guides were amazing. I felt safe but still…”
